Borno State Ministry of Budget and Planning is hosting a town hall meeting on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
The meeting will hold at El-Kanemi Hall, Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri by 9:00AM.
This event is a significant step towards fostering transparency in the budgeting process, allowing concerned citizens and stakeholders to share their inputs on the state's 2025 budget.
The meeting aims to ensure direct engagement between the government and the people, aligning the budget with the needs and aspirations of Borno State residents.
Public involvement is crucial for accountability and proper allocation of resources for the state's development.
Issues related to infrastructure, education, healthcare, and social services are expected to feature prominently during discussions.
Participants are encouraged to come prepared with suggestions and contributions to help shape a more transparent and people-centered budget for 2025.
This Town Hall meeting is part of Borno State's broader efforts to improve governance through inclusivity, particularly during its post-insurgency recovery phase.
