In a welcome relief, 800 households in Nguru Local Government Area of Yobe State have received vital support to aid their recovery from the recent devastating floods.
Through a collaborative effort between Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) and Save the Children International (SCI), these households have been provided with essential assistance, including multi-purpose cash assistance (MPCA) of N100,000 each for 300 households, and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) Non-Food Items (NFIs) distributed to all 800 households.
This intervention aims to address the urgent needs of flood-affected families in Nguru LGA.
The support is part of Governor Mai Mala Buni's recovery efforts, ensuring transparency and accountability in aid distribution.
Residents of Nguru LGA expressed gratitude for the support, citing it as a vital lifeline during this challenging time.
