In a move to support education, the Yobe State Government has awarded scholarships worth N2.225 billion to 890 students of Nigeria Tulip International College (NTIC), Mamudo.
The scholarship program, which will run for six years, will cover students from JSS 1 to SS 3.
Governor Mai Mala Buni, represented by the Head of the State Civil Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara, presented the scholarship letters to the beneficiaries at the NTIC Mamudo event hall.
During the ceremony, Gov. Buni reaffirmed the government's commitment to strengthening the education sector and providing a solid foundation for future generations.
The scholarship program is part of the state's broader educational revitalization initiative, aimed at enhancing learning across all institutions.
Gov. Buni urged the beneficiaries to uphold discipline, embrace hard work, and remain dedicated to their studies.
