The acting General Officer Commanding (GOC) 7 Division, Brigadier General Ugochukwu Unachukwu had visited troops on the frontlines in Gamboru-Ngala, Gajibo, and Forward Operation Base Logomani.

During his address at the Headquarters 3 Battalion and other forward bases under the 24 Task Force Brigade, he urged them to redouble their efforts and maintain an unwavering resolve.

'Your bravery is commendable, but we must push harder to achieve a decisive victory,' he said.

The GOC emphasized the 'Soldiers First' initiative, a core philosophy driven by the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede.

He assured troops that this concept prioritizes their welfare and well-being, including providing modern equipment, improving living conditions, and ensuring necessary resources.

Brig. Gen. Unachukwu highlighted the crucial role of teamwork and collaboration, stressing that leveraging combined skills and expertise is key to defeating terrorists.

He also met with members of the Civilian Joint Task Force, Hybrid Force, and local hunters, praising their contributions and calling for greater synergy and cooperation.

The visit was described as a 'resounding success' and served as a significant morale booster, reinforcing the military's dedication to securing the region.
