Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum has appointed Ali Mamman Shuwa as the new substantive General Manager of the Borno Radio Television (BRTV).
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was announced by the Secretary to the State Government, Bukar Tijani on Monday.
Prior to his new role, Shuwa served as the Director of Current Affairs at BRTV.
He is a seasoned broadcaster with extensive experience in various managerial positions.
The governor congratulated Shuwa on his appointment and wished the outgoing Acting General Manager, Umar Gazali, well in his future endeavors, acknowledging his service to BRTV.
Gazali is expected to return to his previous position.
