In a swift response to the recent flooding in Maiduguri, the Borno State Government has set up two relief camps to provide assistance to residents affected by the disaster.

The State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) has designated the Bakasi and Dalori camps as safe havens for displaced individuals.

According to SEMA, the Bakasi camp, overseen by Director of Planning Ali, has the capacity to accommodate approximately 10,000 families.

Meanwhile, the Dalori camp, led by SEMA's Director-General Dr. Barkindo, will provide shelter for additional affected residents.

SEMA is urging residents in need of assistance to contact them for further support.

The agency is working to ensure efficient service delivery at both camps.

As relief operations continue, authorities are cautioning residents to remain vigilant and follow safety guidelines to ensure a smooth recovery process.
