Ibrahim Miso, is not like every Boko Haram survivor you will come across. Miso is an exceptional bead maker. That isn't what is unique, because more than a dozen others make beads.
He is blind! Dead blind. But he seems not to need the physical eye to express his talent.
He lost his sight when he was 27 years old to glaucoma, he fled Boko Haram crisis in 2012, and in 2015, he lost his father and brother with whom he was staying. As if that isn't too much already, it also separated him with his remaining family members.
Despite all this, he holds on to his craft. He can make, train and mentor many on beadmaking. He specialised on making bags, mats, baskets, keyholders among others.
He needs the support of me and you, to scale up his business. I think you will want to assist him, you can reach out to him directly via his contact 09068253503.
