Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, has sworn in two new commissioners to join his state executive council.

The ceremony took place on Tuesday at the Government House in Maiduguri, with Chief Justice Kashim Zannah presiding over the oath-taking.

The newly sworn-in commissioners are Isah Halidu Garba from Hawul and Umar Lawan Dalorima from Konduga local government.

They are expected to play a crucial role in managing and ensuring the success of Gov. Zulum's administration in rebuilding and developing the state.

Gov. Zulum urged the new commissioners to leverage their experience to drive growth and development in the state, citing their impressive track records.

In addition to the swearing-in ceremony, the governor also announced the establishment of the ministry of livestock and fishery development, which will be overseen by Deputy Governor Usman Alhaji Kadafur.
