Borno State House of Assembly has passed the 2025 Appropriation Bill, approving a revised budget of N615.8 billion.

The passage follows the adoption of the report from the House Committee on Appropriation, which recommended an increase of N31 billion to the initial estimate submitted by Governor Babagana Umara Zulum.

Hon. Mustapha Ali Benisheikh, Chairman of the Appropriation Committee on Tuesday, presented the report to the House, outlining the adjustments made.

The approved budget now totals N615,857,950,000.

Abdullahi Gogo, Clerk of the House, has been directed to prepare six copies of the bill for Governor Zulum’s assent.
