Governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, will present the 2025 budget to the Borno State House of Assembly on Monday, December 9, 2024.

This presentation is in line with the powers vested in him by the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).

According to the announcement made by commissioner of information and internal security, Prof. Usman Tar, the budget presentation will outline the monetary and fiscal projections of the administration for the year 2025.

The governor is also expected to make important policy pronouncements during the event.

In the statement, key stakeholders, including senior government officials, party officials and supporters, the organized private sector, civil society, and citizens, are invited to attend the budget presentation at the Borno House of Assembly.

The event is expected to be a significant milestone in the state's economic planning and development.
