A tragic road accident has claimed the life of a Borno State University (BOSU) student and that of a Ramat Polytechnic student and left several others injured.
The incident occurred along the Moramti axis when a Dangote truck collided with a student bus.
Abdullahi Muhammad Wajiro, NUBOSS President of Borno State Chapter, confirmed the incident to our reporter.
He revealed that multiple casualties have been reported, with three students currently in critical condition.
'The bus, filled with students returning home after the school semester, was struck by the speeding Dangote truck.
'This led to the loss of two lives and injuries to several others,' Muhammad stated.
The injured students were rushed to Umaru Shehu Hospital and the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for immediate medical attention.
