Bana Bukar Modu, widely known on social media as 'Mugun Malami,' a monstrous abuser of a minor, has been arrested in Maiduguri, Borno State.
The arrest, confirmed by YERWA EXPRESS NEWS, was made on Sunday.
Few days ago, a disturbing video depicting Modu brutally beating a small boy had gone viral on social media, prompting widespread condemnation and outrage across Borno State.
The incident sparked heated debates, with many demanding justice for the young victim.
According to reports, Modu is said to reside in Gajiram, Nganzai Local Government Area of Maiduguri.
Yesterday, the Borno State Government had been tracking him down, with Commissioner of Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajiya Zuwaira Gambo, assuring that efforts were underway to track down the perpetrator.
