The Borno State Police Command has carried out a sanitation exercise and free medical outreach in Maiduguri as part of activities marking National Police Day.
The initiative which was conducted on Thursday was part of their commitment to environmental sustainability, community health, and public service.
The sanitation exercise, led by Commissioner of Police, CP Yusufu Mohammed Lawal, covered key locations from the Post Office area to Monday Market, with the aim of enhancing environmental cleanliness and strengthening police-community relations.
Following the cleanup, the command organized a free medical outreach, providing essential healthcare services to residents.
The event was attended by General Manager of the Borno State Environmental Protection Agency (BOSEPA), Mallam Abubakar Sulaiman, alongside community leaders and members of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), who actively participated in the exercise.
