The permanent secretary, Government House who is also the Principal Private Secretary (PPS) to the Borno State Governor, Barr. Mustapha Ali Busuguma, has received an award of excellence from the Women Opportunities for Learning, Skills, and Empowerment Initiative (WOLSEI).

According to WOLSEI, the award was in recognition for his outstanding support for youth and women empowerment in the state.

The award was presented during WOLSEI's 10th enrolment ceremony, where 63 orphans, vulnerable children, and women were enrolled into various educational and empowerment programs.

Abdullahi Ibrahim, who received the award onbehalf of the awardee expressed gratitude to WOLSEI for recognizing his principal's efforts and commitment to promoting youth development, women's empowerment, and protection of the vulnerable.

The WOLSEI Coordinator, Maina Aliyu, described Barr. Busuguma as 'a rare gem' who has consistently contributed to the organization's activities in education, healthcare, agriculture, and women's inclusion.

'No words can fully capture the gratitude of the people touched by his kindness. We say Jazakallahu Khairan. May Almighty Allah reward him abundantly and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdau's,' he said.

The ceremony featured testimonies from program beneficiaries and community members, highlighting the impact of Barr. Busuguma's dedication to human capital development in Borno State.

Barr. Busuguma's award is a testament to his commitment to supporting initiatives that uplift the most underserved communities, in line with the vision of Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum.
