The burial of former President Muhammadu Buhari will take place a tomorrow, Tuesday, at his hometown of Daura, Katsina State.
According to Bashir Ahmed, a former media aide to the late president, the burial ceremony is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
The federal government, led by Vice President Kashim Shettima, will escort Buhari's body back to Nigeria.
Before departing, Vice President Shettima, representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, met with Buhari's family in London to offer condolences.
During his visit, Shettima also stopped by to see Malam Mamman Daura, the late president's nephew, who is currently recovering in a London hospital.
The vice president is overseeing the repatriation process, accompanied by key officials including Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and other dignitaries.
The burial ceremony in Daura is expected to be a significant event, marking the final farewell to the late statesman.
