The Borno State Police Command has decorated four newly promoted senior police officers, who were elevated to higher ranks by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun.

The ceremony, held on Monday was conducted by the Commissioner of Police, Borno State Command, CP Naziru Abdulmajid.

The decorated officers include ACP Yakubu Isah, who has been promoted to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), and ACP Mukhtari Mati, who has also been promoted to DCP.

CSP Abdullahi Buhari, Area Commander Bama, has been promoted to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), and CSP Shu’aibu S. Jafar, 2i/c Commander 6 PMF Maiduguri, has been promoted to ACP.

CP Naziru Abdulmajid congratulated the officers on their well-deserved elevation and urged them to remain committed, professional, and exemplary in the discharge of their duties.

On behalf of the newly promoted officers, DCP Yakubu Isah expressed profound appreciation to the Inspector General of Police and the Chairman, Police Service Commission, for finding them worthy of promotion.

DCP Isah pledged their unwavering dedication and promised that they would remain good ambassadors of the Nigeria Police Force through diligent service.
