Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle following the swearing-in of two new commissioners.
This was announced in a statement issued by Alhaji Bukar Tijani, secretary to the state government on Thursday.
As part of the reshuffle, Mr. Tarpaya Asariya has been moved from the Ministry of Trade, Investment and Tourism to the Ministry of Inter-Governmental Affairs and Special Duties.
Newly appointed commissioner, Engr. Mohammed Habib, has been assigned to head the Ministry of Environment.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim Hala-Hassan, who was also recently sworn in, has been posted to the Ministry of Trade, Investment and Tourism, taking over the portfolio previously held by Mr. Asariya.
The statement directed that all handing and taking over formalities should be completed with immediate effect.
