Thinklab Group, a leading development company in Nigeria, has donated N5 million to the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) Niger State Chapter to support the chapter's 40th Anniversary Celebration and Foundation Laying Ceremony for its new secretariat, "Umaru Mohammed Bago House," scheduled for November 4, 2025.
This generous donation is part of Thinklab Group's commitment to fostering innovation and empowering professionals in Nigeria's built environment.
The company has been involved in various projects in Niger State, including the construction of the 3-Arm Zone GRA, conversion of Shiroro Hotel to IBB University Teaching Hospital, development of Trailer Parks, Madalla Economic City, and several road infrastructure projects.
Thinklab Group's support for the NIA Niger Chapter is not limited to this donation.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by the company, the company has consistently supported the chapter with various donations and has been the highest employer of Architects in Niger State over the last two years.
The statement said Thinklab Group is currently developing the national NIA secretariat in Abuja, further demonstrating its commitment to the architectural community.
During a courtesy visit to Thinklab headquarters, the NIA Niger Chapter delegation, led by Chairman Arc. Usman Yerima, expressed gratitude to Dr. Sa'id Alkali Kori, Group CEO of Thinklab Group, for his commitment to empowerment and professional development.
Dr. Kori reaffirmed his passion for supporting professional bodies and sustainable development, announcing the N5 million donation and pledging to construct the new NIA secretariat building for the Niger State Chapter.
The NIA Niger Chapter commended Thinklab Group's developmental projects in the state, highlighting the company's significant contributions to the architectural community.
The chapter's delegation praised Dr. Kori's generosity, describing him as "family to Niger State" for his numerous contributions.
