The Borno State Government has postponed the presentation of the 2026 Appropriation Bill to the State House of Assembly.
The presentation was earlier scheduled for Monday, December 15.
The postponement was announced in a public interest statement issued on Sunday.
The government said the decision was due to unforeseen circumstances.
It added that a new date for the budget presentation will be announced later.
The statement expressed regret over any inconvenience caused by the postponement.
The announcement was signed by Professor Usman Tar, commissioner of the Ministry of Information and Internal Security in Borno State.
