All is set for the handing over and awards recognition ceremony of the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association, Borno State Chapter.
The ceremony is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, January 28.
The event will commence at 10:00 a.m.
It will take place at Elkanemi Hall, University of Maiduguri.
The program is part of activities marking leadership transition within the association.
The ceremony will also recognize individuals and institutions that have contributed to veterinary practice and animal health development in Borno State.
The event is aimed at strengthening professionalism and cooperation among veterinary practitioners in the state.
Government officials, development partners, and stakeholders in the livestock and animal health sector are expected to attend.
The Borno State Government, the Food and Agriculture Organization, and Core Group are supporting the event.
