A monumental leap for South-South cooperation as Aquarian Consult Limited's historic flight from St. Kitts touches down in Abuja tomorrow.
The flight, carrying over 100 passengers from 8 Caribbean countries, marks the first large-scale commercial charter from the Caribbean to Africa.
Departing Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport on March 21st, the flight lands at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on March 22nd, paving the way for the Afri-Caribbean Investment Summit (AACIS) at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre from March 23rd-28th.
This milestone cements economic ties between St. Kitts, Nigeria, and expands connections between OECS and ECOWAS.
The flight represents a "Reverse Middle Passage" of economic empowerment, reducing travel time from 30+ hours to a direct transatlantic hop.
Passengers include business leaders, government officials, and cultural icons attending high-level discussions on bilateral agricultural breakthroughs, cultural exchange, and investment opportunities.
Aisha Maina, Managing Director of Aquarian Consult, said 'We are flying over the bridge between our two regions, carrying the future of Afri-Caribbean trade, tourism, and shared prosperity.' #TheTransatlanticBridge #AACIS2026
