Parents and community members in Mussa and Lassa in Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State have threatened to protest at the Presidential Villa in Abuja if their abducted children are not rescued within six days.
The children have been in captivity for months.
Forty-four pupils from Mussa and 36 students from Lassa are among those abducted.
The Mussa abduction occurred on May 15.
The Lassa abduction occurred on June 29.
According to Daily Trust on Monday, Ishaku Suya, chairman of the parents' group, called on President Bola Tinubu to intervene.
He said the parents would take over the streets of the Presidential Villa if the children are not rescued within six days.
Josphin Yohanna, a mother of one of the abducted children, questioned why the Borno cases have not received the same urgency as the rescue of schoolchildren abducted in Oyo State.
She said the Mussa and Oyo abductions occurred on the same day.
She said the Oyo children were later rescued, while the Borno pupils remain in captivity.
Dr. Midala Usman Balami, a member of the House of Representatives for Askira/Uba and Hawul Federal Constituency, said he raised the matter on the floor of the House.
He said he will continue to push for action.
The demand follows several protests and appeals for the rescue of the children.
It also follows calls for the federal and Borno State governments to provide updates on efforts to secure their release.
Fasuma Askira, education secretary in Askira/Uba, said on September 1 that about 80 pupils from Mussa and Lassa remain in captivity.
He said 57 primary schools in the area are no longer functioning because of insecurity.
The presidency had not responded publicly to the six-day ultimatum as of the time of this report.
