At least fifteen terrorists have been killed by the troops of Operation Hadin Kai in a precision air strike north-west of Pulka in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State.
Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), said the operation was conducted at about 11:50 p.m. on October 23, 2026, following credible intelligence and confirmed sightings of terrorist movements in the general area of Pulka.
According to a statement by Hadin Kai's spokesman, Capt. Mohammed Goni, the precision strike was subsequently followed by ground operations to exploit the area and consolidate the operational gains.
The successful engagement, the statement noted, highlights the effectiveness of intelligence-driven targeting and coordinated military action in disrupting terrorist movements and degrading their operational capabilities.
The operation, it added, forms part of the sustained offensive posture of troops, supported by effective intelligence gathering and coordinated employment of available military capabilities to maintain pressure on terrorist elements and strengthen the security environment across the North East.
Operation Hadin Kai reassured the public that troops will sustain the momentum of ongoing operations with vigilance, determination and professionalism, while calling on members of the public to sustain cooperation with security agencies by providing timely and credible information on suspicious movements and activities.
