Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, is set to commission Metro Housing Estate, Maiduguri.
The estate which is near Ramat Polytechnic Maiduguri will be commissioned on December 11.
According to a statement by commissioner of information and internal security, Prof. Usman Tar, the projects are part of the state government's efforts to provide affordable housing to its citizens.
He said the housing projects, which offer both high-end and low-cost housing options, align with the state's vision to become the regional center of North East Nigeria.
He added that the development is part of Gov. Zulum's administration's efforts to transform Borno State, as outlined in the state's 25-Year Development Plan and 10-Year Strategic Transformation initiative.
Key stakeholders, including government officials, party supporters, private sector representatives, civil society, and citizens, are expected to attend the commissioning ceremony.
