Co-Development Hub, in partnership with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), has launched a photo exhibition as part of its Digital Storytelling for Resilience (DSR) project to commemorate World Refugee Day in Maiduguri.
The event, themed 'Tales for Resilience,' officially opened today at Prime Lodge Hotel and has already begun drawing emotional responses and deep reflections from attendees.
The two-day exhibition, which runs from Thursday, June 19 to Friday, June 20, 2025, showcases a compelling collection of photographs captured by young storytellers from displaced communities.
Each image offers a deeply human narrative of survival, strength, and resilience in the face of conflict and displacement, giving visitors a rare opportunity to engage with the personal experiences of people forced to flee their homes.
'Tales for Resilience' is part of a broader initiative to raise awareness, foster empathy, and build solidarity with refugees and internally displaced persons, particularly across the conflict-affected regions of NorthEastern Nigeria.
