Married women were among the key beneficiaries as Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, rolled out cash and humanitarian support to over 30,000 households in Ngoshe and Pulka.
The intervention focused on easing the burden of families affected by recent attacks and displacement.
Each male and female head of household in Ngoshe received N30,000.
Married women were specifically allocated N20,000 as part of targeted support.
The governor said the gesture was aimed at supporting vulnerable groups within affected communities.
He confirmed that Pulka residents, including displaced persons, were also covered under the scheme.
Food and non-food items distributed included rice, maize, guinea corn, mattresses, clothing, and plastic mats.
Gov. Zulum acknowledged contributions from the Federal Government and Alhaji Aliko Dangote, who donated 30,000 bags of 10kg rice.
He said a portion of the rice was allocated to Pulka to support displaced populations.
The governor described the intervention as part of ongoing efforts to provide relief and stabilize affected communities.
