Residents of Goni Kachallari in Mashamari Ward, Jere Local Government Area, have had electricity restored after Hon. Adam Isa Badamasi, popularly known as Hon. Adam Jere, repaired their damaged transformer.
Hon. Adam Jere, one of the aspirants for the House of Representatives seat for Jere Federal Constituency under the All Progressives Congress [APC], stepped in after the community had been without power since the devastating flood that affected large parts of Maiduguri and Jere.
The outage left households and small businesses along Isa 190 Street, Allah Karim Area, opposite the School of Agriculture, struggling for weeks.
Responding to the hardship, he repaired and restored the transformer, bringing relief to the area.
The intervention has revived daily activities and given residents renewed hope after months of darkness.
Residents expressed appreciation for the timely intervention, describing it as a demonstration of true leadership and concern for the wellbeing of the people.
In return, the people of Mashamari Ward assured Hon. Adam Jere of their continued support and pledged to stand with him in future political engagements.
