The Borno State Football Club Owners Association, BOSFCOA, has extended birthday wishes to the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Oriental Energy Resources, Alhaji Dr. Muhammad Indimi, describing him as a pillar of philanthropy in the state and the country at large.
Today, August 12, marks another new year for the Maiduguri-born philanthropist and business mogul.
In a message shared with Lake Chad Times, the BOSFCOA Chairman, committee on organising and strategic planning, Abubakar Abdulazeez (Bolori), said the association and football lovers across the state wished Indimi many more fruitful years ahead.
'We wish you happy, more blissful years ahead, father, to continue your philanthropic work, sir. We wish you good health and wellness as you continue to serve your state,' Bolori said.
He noted that Indimi’s contributions to Borno State and Nigeria have continued to inspire support from different sectors, including sports.
Recall, BOSFCOA instituted an annual football competition to commemorate Dr. Indimi’s birthday.
The finals of this year’s edition are scheduled to be played tomorrow.
Football clubs across the state, fans and other lovers of the game are expected to turn out for the final ceremony, with many hoping to see the celebrant in attendance.
Indimi, founder of Oriental Energy Resources, is widely known for his philanthropic interventions in education, health, and community development in Borno and beyond.
