Innotech Ideation Hub has presented a book on artificial intelligence to the Borno State Information and Communication Technology Development Agency (BICTDA) ahead of its official launch.
The book, titled Artificial Intelligence: Skills for Work, Income, and Business, was presented on Sunday to Mohammed Kabir Wanori, executive secretary of BICTDA, at the agency’s office in Maiduguri.
Al-Bashir Ishaq Ibrahim, founder and CEO of Innotech Ideation Hub, said BICTDA was chosen as the first recipient because of its mandate to promote ICT development and build the digital capacity of residents in Borno State.
Ibrahim said the agency was well positioned to help create awareness about the book and its benefits among residents.
He said the book was written for people in Northern Nigeria and originated from Borno State, particularly Maiduguri.
According to him, the book contains practical AI tools and knowledge for graduates, students, working professionals and entrepreneurs.
He said it is designed to help readers use artificial intelligence to find jobs, grow businesses and generate income.
Ibrahim said the book also aims to help readers understand AI, learn how to use AI tools and apply them to their work and income-generating activities.
He described the publication as a resource that introduces readers to some of the knowledge and tools taught at Innotech AI Academy.
However, he said the book is also a standalone resource for anyone seeking to understand and use generative artificial intelligence.
Wanori described Innotech as one of the best initiatives he had encountered since the establishment of the agency.
He said his relationship with Ibrahim began when Ibrahim was working with ZOA International before establishing Innotech Ideation Hub.
Wanori said BICTDA and Innotech had continued to collaborate on several initiatives since then.
He said Innotech’s work had contributed to the development of Borno State, the Northeast and Nigeria.
Wanori said the Borno State Government would continue to partner with Innotech because of its contributions to the state.
He also commended the organization’s work and expressed support for continued collaboration between Innotech and the agency.
