The management and staff of the State Specialist Hospital, Maiduguri, have commended the Borno State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency, BOSCHMA, for its outstanding contributions to healthcare service delivery in the state.
In two separate letters dated October 19, 2026, and signed by its medical director, Dr. Baba Shehu Mohammed, the hospital appreciated BOSCHMA for its tremendous support through the formal sector scheme and the Basic Health Care Provision Fund, BHCPF.
The hospital noted that the support has strengthened its capacity to deliver quality healthcare services and respond to the needs of the communities it serves.
The hospital also congratulated BOSCHMA on its recognition as one of the best state health MDAs in digital service delivery in Nigeria and its receipt of the prestigious Government Technology Trailblazers Award.
It specifically commended the Executive Secretary of BOSCHMA, Dr. Saleh Abba Kaza, for his pioneering leadership, dedication, hard work, and remarkable contributions to digital healthcare transformation.
According to the hospital, the recognition underscores BOSCHMA's commitment to leveraging technology, strengthening healthcare institutions, and improving access to quality, efficient and affordable healthcare for the people of Borno State.
