Borno State Government has announced the official coronation and presentation of staff of office to His Royal Highness, the Shehu of Bama, (Dr.) Umar Kyari Umar El-Kanemi.
The event is set to take place on Monday, February 10, 2025.
The announcement was made by Makinta A. Usman, Secretary of the Bama Emirate Council, who extended an invitation to the public to attend the ceremony and offer their prayers and support.
Usman described the upcoming event as a momentous occasion for the Bama Emirate.
Governor Zulum's approval of the date underscores the significance of the traditional leadership in the region.
The coronation is expected to draw prominent figures from across the state and beyond, marking a new chapter in the history of the Bama Emirate.
