Boko Haram terrorists have killed one person and abducted 14 people, including women and children, in a fresh attack in Borno.
YERWA EXPRESS NEWS learnt that the attack occurred on Saturday at about 12:00 pm when the terrorist group struck on a group of youths, women and children in the community named Shuwari -Kalari.
The victims went to fetch firewood in the bush when the attack occurred.
According to a member of the Civilian Joint Task Force, the terrorists killed one person at the spot and allowed one other to deliver the message of the incident to the people in the community.
'They abducted 10 people and killed one after demanding N1.2 million for each person. One of the victims argued with the terrorists, and the argument caused him his life.
'They are now demanding the family of the victims to pay the sum of N1 million for each person for their release,' the source added.
Shuwari Kaleri community is just 5 km away from Muna Garage, under Jere Local Government Area of Borno State.
