Dr. Mohammed Aminu Ghuluze has been sworn in as the new Head of Service in Borno State.
The swearing-in ceremony took place on Tuesday at the Maiduguri Government House Council Chamber, where the oath of office was administered by Hon. Justice Mohammed Maina, representing the Chief Justice of Borno State.
Recall that last month, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum appointed Dr. Ghuluze to take over from Barrister Malam Fannami, who retired from service.
Dr. Ghuluze's appointment, which took effect from March 3, 2025, was announced by the special adviser to the governor on media, Mal. Dauda Iliya.
As a seasoned administrator and surgeon, Dr. Ghuluze brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
His previous positions include Permanent Secretary, Administration, Medical Director at the State Specialist Hospital, and Chief Medical Director of the Borno State Hospitals Management Board.
Gov. Zulum, who sworn in Dr. Ghuluze, tasked him with leveraging his experience to enhance professionalism, discipline, and commitment within the state's civil service.
The governor also assured Dr. Ghuluze of his support during his tenure, emphasizing the importance of working closely with the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) office.
In his remarks, Dr. Ghuluze expressed his gratitude to Gov. Zulum for the trust and confidence reposed in him.
He also thanked his family, friends, and colleagues for their support and encouragement, and pledged to work closely with all stakeholders to drive positive change and growth in the state.
