Borno State Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation has issued an official directive adjusting the school calendar in observance of the 1446AH holy month of Ramadan.
According to the directive which was issued in a statement on Sunday, all public and private schools in the state are required to close daily no later than 1:00 PM throughout Ramadan.
The statement said all academic activities for the second term of the 2024/2025 academic session must be concluded on or before Friday, March 21, 2025. Schools are scheduled to resume on Monday, April 28, 2025.
The ministry urged all concerned parties to comply with the directive, expressing regret for any inconveniences the adjustment may cause.
