The Nigerian Army has announced the arrest of seven individuals suspected to be supplying logistics to Boko Haram terrorists in the North East region.
According to a statement released on the official Facebook page of the Nigerian Army on Friday, the arrests were made possible through the collaborative efforts of troops of Operation Hadin Kai, the Air Component, CJTF, and local hunters.
In the statement, between July 15 and 22, 2025, the troops intensified their offensive and logistics strangulation operations across the North East, achieving notable successes.
The operations led to the disruption of several terrorist supply routes in Adamawa and Borno States, resulting in the arrest of the suspected logistics suppliers.
The suspects were found with various items, including motorcycles, food items, fuel, and communication devices.
In another development, troops carried out successful raids and ambushes in several Local Government Areas (LGAs), including Gwoza, Kaga, Bama, Monguno, and Konduga, neutralizing terrorists and foiling planned attacks.
Also in the statement, 10 family members of Boko Haram terrorists also surrendered to troops in Bama LGA during the operations.
Other notable recoveries include unauthorized Starlink equipment, large quantities of hard drugs, arms, Improvised Explosive Device (IED) materials, and communication gear.
A major interception on July 22 led to the seizure of high-tech equipment and supplies en route to Gamboru.
The Chief of Army Staff praised the bravery of the troops and reaffirmed the Nigerian Army's commitment to defeating terrorism and restoring peace across the region.
